The gite/holiday accommodation with swimming pool is near Chinon in the Indre-et-Loire department of the Loire Valley. Ideally situated for visiting the many Chateaux of the Loire Valley including Chinon, Saumur, Azay le Rideau Usse, Chenonceau and Amboise.
The gite accommodation comprises of 3 bedrooms: one double, one twin and a single, kitchen, living/dining room and bathroom. The gite also has its own private enclosed garden with bbq, table and chairs, basketball area and parking.
Free internet access/wifi is available at the property.
The gite:
The gite - which adjoins the main house - is in the hamlet of Chezelet between the villages of Panzoult and Cravant les Coteaux (1.5k) and approximately 5miles/8k from the medieval town of Chinon, Indre-et-Loire, France.
The gite offers a party/family of five (one double bedroom, one single bedroom and a twin bedroom) a base in the heart of the Loire Valley.
All bedding is supplied.
Inside the gite:
The main entrance hall is from the gite's private garden. From the hallway stairs lead to first floor landing, bathroom and twin bedroom and to the lounge/dining area and kitchen.

Lounge area with satellite TV and DVD player.
The gite's fully equipped kitchen has a gas hob, electric oven, microwave, under-counter fridge/freezer. Windows overlooking swimming pool area.

The main bedroom on the ground floor has a double bed, small settee and walk in wardrobe. The windows overlook the swimming pool area.
The large bathroom on the first floor consists of wash basin, toilet, standard bath with over-bath shower.
All bedding and house towels are supplied for the rental period.
Iron/ironing board and hair dryer are supplied.
Cot and highchair available on request.
*Please note: Swimming pool towels are not included.
Electricity: In May/June/September there is an extra charge for electricity used during your stay. This is payable prior to your departure. In July and August electricity is included in the rental cost.
Taxe de Sejour (local holiday tax): There is a charge of £1 per adult (over 18yrs), per night for the duration of your stay.
The twin bedroom is on the first floor with velux windows overlooking the swimming pool area.
One single bedroom on the ground floor has windows overlooking the gite's private garden.

The Gite - Private Garden:
The gite has its own private garden (approx 30mx20m) and is gated. It is enclosed on three sides with a large hedge. It has a gravel drive and parking area, a grassed area and secure garage space to store your bikes, etc. The garden, with several fruit trees, is equipped with a bbq, table and chairs.
The swimming pool area:
The enclosed 12x5m swimming pool is surrounded by a flagged and grassed area with sunloungers.The swimming pool area is protected by a childproof safety barrier and pool alarm.
The main garden:
The table tennis, trampoline, swings and badminton are in the large main garden (fenced) and accessed through the french windows from the gite.
Short Breaks and Weekends:
The gite is offering short breaks or weekends in the months of May, June and September and with the possibility of a late bookings in July/Aug depending on availability. To find out more regarding short breaks/weekends click here
